Can someone please tell me how this is not transformational?

Barack Obama is sending boxes of field materials to hundreds of thousands of volunteers who are organizing themselves on the Internet for a neighborhood canvass in JUNE.
If you watch the video, you can see that these boxes are going to every state in the nation -- including territories like the Virgin Islands. That is probably more resources than even Dean can muster for a 50-state strategy through the party.
Barack Obama has money, mostly all from small donors, AND thousands of volunteers. He has something every candidate dreams about. The power of that can not be ignored, and it can certainly not be diminished by a bunch of people who pride themselves on grassroots empowerment and increasing democracy. Period.
